Fish has his own preferences about wines. To know and appreciate them, there is now Degustamare, initiative to promote and value fishery products with the wines of the Italian coast. An innovative formula, that involves culture and taste and changes Expo Venice pavilion in a real square of Mediterranean taste. Degustamare is something to savor and know through events and insights of experts, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Veneto Region and with Elior, partner for food service.

“Degustamare – Piazza delle Marinerie d’Italia” occupies an area of ​2,000 m² inside Expo Venice pavilion, characterized by a graphic that represents a stylized fish, repeated several times to cite the Byzantine mosaic decorations that characterize many Venetian monuments. The area have a communicative and expositive value with desks dedicated to OP, GAC and wineries, which provide information about the territories of origin, the products and their organoleptic properties, methods of preparation and combinations.
